The Wireless PIR Sensor provides the ultimate in early detection of residents attempting to exit the bed. Utilising infrared horizontal beam technology, the unit is triggered when movement is detected within its narrow beam. This occurs when the resident sits up to get out of bed, thus alerting nursing staff. This allows staff to quickly respond to the resident in assisting them to exit the bed safely. The Wireless PIR Sensor allows itself to be switched off during the day to allow movement for the residents to walk freely if allowed to. A caregiver key is an additional feature, which only allows Nurses with the Key to cancel the activated call, making sure a resident does not cancel the call after being activated.
